Installation:
1. Check duct and cable dimensions with the selection table on page 2. For some configurations two pieces RDSS-AD-210
are necessary! It is recommended to wet clean the duct and the cable, and to remove any remaining sealant from possible
previous installations.
2. Installation of the first RDSS-AD-210 adapter: Remove the protective paper from the outside of the RDSS-AD-210.
Lubricate the sealing strip generously. Lubricate the overlap and the inside totally.
3. Wrap the adapter around the cable (if any) and slide it completely into the duct.
4. Release the adapter and make sure that the adapter has a tight fit to the duct wall. At the overlapping area, the grooves on
the outside have to fit the ribs on the inside of the adapter.
5. Steps 5 to 7 only if a second RDSS-AD-210 is necessary: Remove the protective paper from the second adapter.
Lubricate the sealing strip and the outside of the adapter totally as well as the inside.
6. Wrap the adapter tightly around the cable (if any) and slide it completely into the first adapter.
7. Release the adapter and make sure that the adapter has a tight fit to the previously installed adapter. The groves on the
outside of the second adapter have to fit into the ribs on the inside of the first adapter.
8. Continue with the installation of the appropriate RDSS inflatable seal according to the Installation Instruction EPP-0570
except positioning the unfilled RDSS standing 5 mm proud of the adapter.
Please dispose of all waste according to environmental regulations. "End of life": The products should be
considered as part of the cable and be disposed according to local legislation for cable disposal.

Montage:
1. Kabelabmessungen und Durchmesser der Kabeldurchführung mit der Tabelle auf Seite 2 vergleichen. Für einige
Konfigurationen sind zwei Stück Adapter RDSS-AD-210 zu verwenden! Das Kabel und die Durchführung möglichst mit
einem feuchten Lappen reinigen und mögliche Reste von Dichtband aus früheren Installationen entfernen.
2. Installation des ersten RDSS-AD-210 Adapter: Schutzpapier von der Außenseite des RDSS-AD-210 abziehen. Das
Dichtband großzügig mit Gleitmittel einstreichen. Ebenfalls den Überlappungsbereich einstreichen sowie die gesamte
Innenseite.
3. Den Adapter um das Kabel (falls vorhanden) wickeln und vollständig in die Durchführung einschieben.
4. Den Adapter loslassen. Auf fest anliegenden Sitz des Adapters achten. Im Überlappungsbereich müssen die Stege der
Außenlage in den Rillen der Innenlage sitzen.
5. Schritte 5 bis 7 nur, falls ein zweiter Adapter benötigt wird: Schutzpapier von der Außenseite des zweiten RDSS-AD-
210 abziehen. Die Außen- und Innenseite des Adapters ganzflächig mit Gleitmittel einstreichen.
6. Den Adapter eng um das Kabel (falls vorhanden) wickeln und vollständig in den ersten Adapter einschieben.
7. Den Adapter loslassen. Auf fest anliegenden Sitz beider Adapters achten. Auf dem gesamten Umfang müssen die Stege
des vorher installierten Adapters in den Rillen des zweiten Adapters sitzen.
8. Mit der Installation der passenden RDSS Kabelschutzrohrabdichtung gemäß Installationsanweisung EPP-0570 fortfahren,
außer dass die unbefüllte RDSS 5mm über den Adapter hinausstehen muss!
Verpackungsmaterial sowie andere Abfälle entsprechend den einschlägigen Vorschriften entsorgen.
"Ende Lebensdauer" - Diese Produkte sind als Bestandteil des Kabels zu sehen und nach den Nationalen
Gesetzen und Vorschriften dem Entsorgungsweg der Kabel zuzuführen.
Sämtliche Angaben in dieser Montageanleitung richten sich ausschließlich an ausgebildetes Starkstrom-Montagepersonal und haben den
Zweck, die ordnungsgemäße Installationsmethode dieses Produktes zu beschreiben. TE Connectivity hat jedoch keinerlei Einfluss auf
