2.1. Installation and Setup
This manual provides information about all aspects concerning the inverter and legislative re-
quirements known at the time of writing. However, always check the local requirements and en-
sure that the inverter is installed and operated in accordance with these requirements.
Before installation, always check the packaging and inverter for damage.
A suitable environment for Solarstocc inverters is specified in the environmental class IE34, in
accordance with IEC 721-3-3, with the following exceptions:

Indoor mounting
Temperature range: –25 to 60°C
Humidity: 0-95%, no condensation
Enclosure IP 21: No spraying water
Vibration: 1G
The inverter must be mounted on a wall to ensure an adequate flow of air to the cooling
element on the back side of the inverter. If it is not possible to mount the inverter on a
wall, it must be secured on a plate that is at least as large as the inverter.
Use a wall that is sufficiently flat and firm to carry the inverter weight.
Do not install the inverter on flammable surfaces (wood or similar) or close to flammable
materials.
