B'B'Diesel hydraulic locomotive for 760 mm gauge
Series 2095
From 1958, the ÖBB procured a series of B'B'Dieselloks with 600 hp. The first series with the numbers 2095.01 to
.03 still has a steam boiler and differs in various details from the later 2095.04 to .15, which were intended for
trains with Webasto car heater. The diesel locomotive ÖBB Series 2095 is still in use. She is currently on the routes
of the Pinzgaubahn, the Bregenzerwaldbahn and the Waldviertelbahn.

The following operating instructions apply to all 2095 models:
All models are sold without accessories (shipping condition). You will receive a small set of accessories. In this
sheet you will find all the information you need to assemble these parts.
The models of the 2095 are delivered on two different chassis and there are several up-grad options available,
which you can install yourself or select directly when ordering.
205-FAULHABER
Stängl Modellbahnen delivered all models with Faulhaber motor until 2017, which guarantees very good driving
characteristics and very smooth running. If you have chosen the Up-Grade 205-FAULHABER when ordering, we will
ship your model with such a brushless motor. Please note that these motors may require special care in setting the
CV values during digitalization.
205-SOUND
Since 2018, a high quality sound project by Alexander Meyer (ZIMO) is available for all models from the 2095. If
you choose this up-grade when ordering, we will ship the model with a matching ZIMO sound decoder. The CV
values are tailored to your model and require no further modification. If you would like to make a sound conversion
on models of the 2095, we recommend ZRS0205-SOUND-A for models with Faulhaber motor or ZRS0205-SOUND-
B for models with Mabuchi motor. The set includes a bespoke decoder with original 2095 sound and tuned driving
characteristics, as well as a special resonator box with speaker for easy conversion.
205-DIGITAL
The models of the 2095 are DCC ready since 2016 and have a NEM651 interface. If you choose this up-grade when
ordering, we will ship the model with a matching ZIMO decoder. If you want to make the conversion yourself,
please observe the installation instructions below. Matching decoders are available on request.
