3.4 Mounting the plate to the wood grapple

The mounting plate has the same pattern of holes as that of the wood grapple.
The female sections of the hydraulic links are attached to the existing grapple hydraulic hoses. Ensure
that the plate is installed in such a way that the hose for Grapple Close with the Label [G.C.] is located
at the bump for the recess in the rotator plate.

3.5 Connect and disconnect the quick connector

Please note: When connecting or disconnecting the hydraulic hoses, the carrying vehicle must be
turned off and the system must be depressurized. This is essential to ensure that work is carried out
safely.
Connection
There is only one way for the mounting plates to fit together. Position the rotator with mounting plate
directly above the mounting plate of the felling grapple or wood grapple. Then lower it until the shafts
fit inside notches.

Use the disc between the wood grapple and the
mounting plate when a recess is present in the grapple.
The bolts used to drive in the wedges must both be
evenly tightened until there is virtually no tolerance
between the cupped spring washers.
