USE OF NEBULIZATION MANUAL CONTROL

The nebulisation manual control (C6) can be used to reduce dispersion of the medication into the surrounding
environment and reduces wastage of the medication. It should not be used if continuous nebulisation of the
medication is required, which may be more suited for children and people with reduced capabilities.
To start nebulizing close with
a finger the hole of the nebulization manu-
al control (C6) and breathe in gently;
we recommend to hold your breath for
a moment so that the inhaled aerosol
droplets can be deposited,

CLEANING, SANITIZATION AND DISINFECTION

Turn off the unit before any cleaning and disconnect the power cord from the mains.
DEVICE AND OUTER SURFACE OF THE TUBE
Only use a cloth dampened with antibacterial detergent (non-abrasive and free of solvents of any kind).
ACCESSORIES
We recommend a personal use of both the nebulizer and accessories to avoid any risk of infection or contagion. Open the nebulizer by
turning the upper part (C1.2) anticlockwise, then dismantle it as shown in the "Connection diagram" sect. C1. Then proceed according to
the following instructions.
SANITIZATION
Before and after each use, sanitize the nebulizer and accessories according to one of the methods described below.
method A: Sanitize accessories C1.1-C1.2.1-C1.2.2-C1.2.3- C2-C3-C4-C5-C6 under potable hot water (approximately 40°C) with a
gentle, non abrasive dish detergent.
method B: Sanitize accessories C1.1-C1.2.1-C1.2.2-C1.2.3- C2-C3-C4-C5-C6 in the dishwasher with a hot cycle.
method C: Sanitize accessories C1.1-C1.2.1-C1.2.2-C1.2.3- C2-C3-C4-C5-C6 by immersing them in a solution of 50% water and
50% white vinegar, then rinse thoroughly under potable hot water (approximately 40° C).
If you want to also perform DISINFECTION, proceed to the DISINFECTION paragraph.
After sanitization shake the accessories vigorously and place them on a paper towel, or alternatively, dry them with a jet of hot air (e.g.
using a hair dryer).
DISINFECTION
After sanitizing the nebulizer and the accessories, disinfect them choosing one of the methods described below.
method A: Accessories C1.1-C1.2.1-C1.2.2-C1.2.3- C2-C3-C4-C5-C6 can be disinfected.
The disinfectant must be an electrolytic chloroxidizer (active principle: sodium hypochlorite), specific for disinfecting, which is available
in any pharmacy.
