HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
• Before switching on equipment, make sure that no one is dazzled or blinded by
equipment ´s light.
• Connect the attached electrical cable to local power supply.
• Switch equipment on by pushing the switch button 1 (POWER) at front of
panel.
• Switch equipment on by pushing the switch button 1 (POWER) at front of
panel. The green POWER ON Button begins to light up and after 5 - 10
seconds, the Xenon special lamp will ignite automatically.
IMPORTANT ADVICE :
To secure the long life span of lamp, make sure that the XENON special lamp
is kept switched on for at least 30 minutes. A short ignition period of the
lamp will reduced its life span !
• The brightness of light can be adjusted by pushing the buttons 4 und 5 . The
brightness is controlled by a servo-shutter and the light colour temperature
remains unchanged. The light intensity can be changed by pushing INTENSITY
buttons (left push button dark arrow, right push button bright arrow). Pushing
the left button, brightness will be reduced and pushing the right button will
increase brightness. Maximum brightness and maximum darkness are reached,
when the push buttons show a yellow light.
• During operation of light source, make sure that ventilation of equipment is not
obstructed. If this happens, overheating occurs and the xenon lamp will shut off
automatically for a while. Switch off equipment. After cooling down, the lamp will
function as normal.
