When the adjusted time is over the
timer stops the heating and the
control lamp goes out. If this was the
last treatment unplug the appliance.
Immediately wash your face in cold
water and apply a good face cream.
Afterwards do not leave the warm
room for about 30 minutes.
Medical application
In case of illness of the respiratory
tracts the appliance provides
noticeable relief. In case of colds the
mucous membranes become
especially dry. When using the
appliance with water they are
moistened so that they can serve
better their natural function, the
cleaning of the air we breathe.

each with a duration of 10 - 15 min.

Additives in the water may have
different effects. They should be
used only on advice of your doctor
or your pharmacist.

- temperature
- permanent tickle in the throat
- troubles for unknown reasons
- use under the influence of
medicals and local anasthetics
- skin injuries and illnesses in the face
- injuries in the nose or in the throat
Cosmetic application
In our more and more ecologically
damaged environment the vitalising
steam bath for cosmetic treatment
becomes very important.
When using the appliance the skin
gets warm and supplied with blood
and the pores become opened. To
remove impurities it is better for the
skin to be cleaned in a natural way.
Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the appliance and let it cool
down. Pour out the evaporation bowl
and wipe it out with a damp cloth.
Prior to every use, residues in the
evaporation bowl have to be removed
completeley. Otherwise, further use
of the appliance could lead to defla-
gration.
Lime residues have to be removed
by commercial descaling agents,
suitable for stainless steel, according
to the manufacturer instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in
water, but clean it with a damp cloth
only and dry it.
The facial mask can be cleaned in
dishwater, it is not dishwasher-proof.
The mask for inhalation through the
nose consisting of two parts can be
pulled apart with air inlet gap as
small as possible and can be cleaned
separately in the dishwasher.
They are put together analogously by
turning both parts so that they are closed.

1. This product is supplied with a 13 A
plug conforming to BS 1363 fitted to
the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable
for your socket outlets or needs to be
replaced, please note the following. If
the plug is a non-rewireable one, cut
it from the mains lead and immediately
dispose of it.
Never insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a very great risk of an electric
shock.
2. The replacement of the plug at the
mains lead has to be done according
to the following instructions:
Important: The wires in this mains
lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:

brown:
Live
As the colours of the wires in the
mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
- the wire which is coloured blue must
be connected to the terminal which
is marked with the letter N or
coloured black,
- the wire which is coloured brown
must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red.
Do not connect any wire to the
terminal which is marked with the
letter E or by the earth symbol
coloured green or green and yellow.
3. If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it
must be fitted with a 3 A fuse con-
forming to BS 1362 and be ASTA
approved. If any other type of plug is
used, the appliance must be protec-
ted by a 5 A fuse either in the plug
or adapter or at the distribution board.
If in doubt - consult a qualified
electrician.
4. Never use the plug without closing
the fuse cover.

At the end of its lifetime this
product must not be
disposed of through the
normal domestic waste, but
it should be handed to an
assembly point for the recycling of
electrical and electronical
