Instructions for use

Before using
Read these instructions carefully.
They contain important notes for the
use, safety and maintenance of the
appliance. Keep them in a safe
place and transfer them to a
possible succeeding user. Only use
the appliance for the purpose
mentioned in these instructions.
When using pay particular attention
to the following safety advice. The
appliance must be used for the
designed purpose only, according to
the operating instructions. For
hygienic reasons the exchange of
the appliance is not possible once it
has been used. When operating the
appliance observe the safety advice.
Safety advice
• Only connect appliance to
alternating current - with a rated
voltage according to the rating
plate on the appliance. Cord and
plug must be completely dry.
• Do not pull the connection cord
over sharp edges or jam it, do not
allow it to hang down and protect it
from heat and oil.
• Do not use the appliance close to
bath tubs, wash basins or other
vessels filled with water.
• Do not place the appliance onto
hot surfaces, e. g. hot plate etc.
and do not operate near open fire.
• Do not place the appliance onto
water-sensitive surfaces as water
splashes could damage them
• Attention! Place the appliance on
a solid and flat base. In case of
spilling of hot liquid, for example
when changing the mask during
operation there is a scalding
danger. In case of scalding
immediately cool the concerned
parts of the skin.
• Only switch on the appliance if the
evaporation bowl is filled with
water. Principally fill in water first
and additives after.
• After use always remove residues
in the vaporisation bowl thoroughly.
• Do not operate the appliance
unattended.
• Do not pull out the plug by the cord
or touch it with wet hands.
• This appliance is not meant to be
used by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensorial or mental capacities or in
absence of the necessary
experience and/or knowledge -
unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety
and from whom they get
instructions on how to use the
appliance.
• Keep out of reach from children.
• If the following happens do not use
the appliance and unplug it
immediately:
- the appliance or the cord is
damaged
- any defect after the appliance has
accidently dropped or something
similar is suspected.
In these cases have the appliance
repaired.
• Unplug in the following cases:
- faults during use
- before cleaning and
maintenance
- after use.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water.
Never clean the evaporation bowl
under running water.
• In case of misuse, wrong handling
or incorrect repair no liability will be
taken for possible damages.
Claims under guarantee are also
excluded in such cases.
• The appliance is not designed for
commercial use.
• In case the cord of this appliance is
damaged, it has to be replaced by
an authorised service agent of the
manufacturer or a person having
similar qualifications. Substantial
dangers for the user can appear
from inappropriate repairs.
Putting into operation
Unwind the power supply cord fully
from the cable reel facility under-
neath the appliance.
Prior to every use, residues in the
evaporation bowl have to be removed
completely. Otherwise, further use of
the appliance could lead to deflagration.

To keep the heating up times as
short as possible use the measuring
cup (3) and fill the evaporation bowl
only with the quantity of water which
is enough for the desired time of use.
The level indications (10, 20 minutes)
are minimum periods of time for
which the water quantity is enough
at the highest heat setting.
In addition to the facial mask (1) for
inhalation there is a special mask for
inhalation through the nose (2).
After putting on the chosen mask put
the plug into the socket. Adjust the
right turning knob (4) to the desired
time of use, at most 20 min.
Adjust the left turning knob (5) to the
desired heat setting and with it the
intensity of the vaporization. The
appliances should be heated up at
setting - 3.
After pushing the start button (6) the
control lamp (7) is activated.
The heating up time is about 3
minutes until evaporation will begin.
Before starting the treatment,
cleanse the face and remove make-
up. Afterwards position your head
over the facial mask.
Should the steam against the face

be felt too hot, the intensity can be
reduced by turning the left turning knob.
In case of pain on the skin or the
mucous membranes, interrupt the
treatment immediately and, if necessary,
cool the affected parts of the skin.
For inhalation through the nose the
influx of fresh air is adjustable by
turning both masks against each other.
The steam concentration is at most
