In case the cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to be replaced by an
authorised service agent of the manufacturer or a person having similar
qualifications. Substantial dangers for the user can appear from inappro-
priate repairs.

Putting into operation

Unroll the cord to the length which is required. The eggboiler has to be
placed horizontally in order to avoid it switching off too early and the eggs
being undercooked.
Cooking degree: soft - middle - hard
The quantity of water which is needed depends on the desired cooking
level and the number of eggs being cooked.
The measuring cup has got three scales (hard, middle and soft), which are
subdivided in accordance to the number of eggs. The following has to be
observed: the less eggs the more water has to be filled in the heating
bowl. The markings refer to medium-sized eggs. For big eggs add some
more water, for small eggs less water.
Comment: As the degree of hardness is judged very subjectively, it might
be necessary to deviate from the above mentioned points. Your own expe-
riences will help you to obtain after a short period the result which you per-
sonally wish.
Before putting them in the appliance the eggs have to be pierced on the
dull side of the egg with the egg pierce at the bottom of the measuring cup.
This prevents eggs from bursting. Then put the cap on the appliance and
connect it.
As soon as the buzzer signal starts, the cooking process is finished.
Unplug the appliance. Then rinse the eggs with cold water in order to
avoid them cooking any longer.
Caution: – HOT STEAM – Only touch the lid by the handle when taking it
off. First tilt the cap to let the steam out from the side and condensation
will drip over the appliance.
Salt shaker
The head can be removed by turning it by 90° and so it can be used as
salt shaker. Press the cookscomb in order to fill the salt shaker. Fill the salt
shaker with salt and put it in again in a reversed order.
