Changing the oil and maintenance
It is highly recommended that you thoroughly clean the fryer when you change the
oil. Oil must be changed as soon as it turns brown or when you notice an accumula-
tion of water and/or residues on the bottom of the tank. Never change the oil when it
is still hot.
Follow the local guidelines for the disposal of waste oil!

Set switch [1] onto « 0 ».
Wait until the oil has cooled down.
Unplug the fryer and remove the heater
housing.
Do not immerse the housing in any liquid,
only the heater coils can be dipped into a
basin or a pot for cleaning.
Clean the heater with hot soapy water and a
smooth brush.
Never use a metallic brush or object, you
could damage the heater or the thermo-
stats.
Drain the oil, discard or keep it for further
use.
In this case make sure to discard the last
1/2 l of oil in which the residues have accu-
mulated (cold zone).
This appliance can be taken apart, the tank
can be removed from the chassis. Tank,
chassis and basket can be cleaned in a
dishwasher.
After cleaning, rinse well the tank and heat-
er with hot water and dry properly. Residues
of detergent are very detrimental to the
fresh oil.
Put all parts together and cover with the lid.
