The device may only be used by persons familiar with the product.
The Fingertip Pulse Oximeter can be used to measure a person's level of
oxygen saturation and pulse rate via his/her finger.
The product is suitable for use in hospitals, oxygen bars, socio-medical facilities,
household environments as well as for medical supervision in sports.
The pulse oximeter only plays a supporting role in patient diagnosis.
It does not replace a medical diagnosis.
These operating instructions reflect the state of the art at the time
of publication.
This product complies with the provisions of the Directive 93/42/EEC.
The instructions for use comply with DIN EN 82079-1.
The measuring accuracy has been confirmed in tests.
The materials in direct contact with the patient's skin include medical silicone
and ABS plastic and meet the normative requirements of ISO 10993-5
and ISO 10993-10.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE
Danger of explosion: The device must not be used in the proximity
of flammable gas.
The device must not be used together with MRI or X-ray CT systems.
Check the sensor's measuring point constantly, otherwise measurements
may be inaccurate.
Check the product regularly for any visible damage. In case of damage please
contact customer service.
It may not be used as a monitoring device for any significant length of time since
the oximeter has no warning function for blood oxygen saturation.
The measuring point/measuring finger should be changed at least every 4 hours,
by checking the condition of the patient's skin and the state of the patient's
circulatory system.
The blood oxygen saturation measurement process can be influenced by
strong light. If necessary protect the sensor from light.
