Catch
1.
Push the catch (c) in direction of arrow.
2.
Unscrew the connector housing (b) from the
front part of the connector (a).

In the stripping tool 6GK1 905-6AA00, use
the brown knife cassette 6GK1 905-6AB00.
6.
Measure the cable length against the
measuring template. The correct length is
indicated by the marker with the number
6GK1 905-0EA10 or -0EB10.

12. Push the connector housing (b) up to the
front part of the connector (a).
Dismantling the plug

1. Release the pressure nut (d).

Fit the connector housing (b) over the cable.

Insert the cable. Use your index finger as
the limit stop.

Tighten the stripping tool fully.
9.
Rotate the stripping tool
– 4 times for PVC cables,
– 8 times for PUR cables
in the direction of the arrow and remove
remnants of the jacket.

13. Screw the connector housing and the front
of the connector together until the catch (c)
locks in position.
14. Screw the pressure nut (d) and the
connector housing together.
2. Push the catch (c) in the arrow direction and
unscrew the connector housing from the front
part of the connector.

Strip the insulation from the cable as shown
in the picture using a suitable stripper with
the correct cutting depth or with the
PROFIBUS stripping tool*.
* The stripping tool is suitable only for FC
cables.

10. Open the flap (e) and push the PROFIBUS
wires according to the colored marking as
far into the holder as they will go.
11. Press down the holder flap (e) until it is fully
closed. Make sure that the jacket shield fully
covers the shield contact surface.

Replace the knife cassette if the cut edges
become ragged or after approx.

The piercing contacts of the PROFIBUS
FC M12 Plug PRO can be released and
reassembled up to 10 times. Cable ends
that have already been pierced must not
be used again but must be cut off.

3. Push the connector housing (b) to the back.
4. Open the holder flap (e) of the front part of
the connector by pushing up the inserted
cable.
5. Remove the cable from the holder (e) and
remove the connector housing from the
cable.
