4.1 Installation

Isotherm refrigerators have been designed and constructed exclusively for recessed
installation. The refrigerator must always be in a horizontal position, with the
compressor's rubber feet at the bottom. The compressor is capable of functioning
at angles of up to 30°. The compressor can become damaged with any higher
inclinations. Also remote operation compressors must be installed with its rubber
feet downward.
Secure the refrigerator so that it cannot tip/slide in the event of rough seas or in
the case of sudden vehicle movement. The unit should be anchored by at least 2
fastening points, in accordance with the provisions of the EN 60335-2-24 standard.
The covers supplied with the product (Fig. 3B) are insulated and provided with
special gaskets so as to ensure correct functioning of the product and to maintain the
correct temperature, but they are not finished on the surface and are not provided
with hinges or handles.
It is advisable to install cladding for covers (not provided by Indel Webasto Marine
Srl) as illustrated in (Fig. 3A), fastening any hinges and/or handles on the cladding.
WARNING! Make sure that the cover has been properly closed, check that
the gasket is sealed properly on the trunk.
