MyDP to HDMI Adapter

Intended use
The product is designed to connect to a compatible mobile device (see "Technical
data"), which features a SlimPort-/MYDP interface.
It is used for the transmission of screen content, images and video signals in HD qual-
ity as well as digital audio signals from your smartphone or tablet to a TV or monitor
with HDMI™ input.
You can charge your mobile device during playback via the additional Micro-USB 2.0
port using the adapter.
Power is supplied via the SlimPort/MYDP port (Micro-USB 2.0 connector).
Carefully read the entire operating instructions which contain important information
about operation and use. Observe all safety instructions!

The following safety instructions and hazard warnings are intended not only
to protect your health but also to protect the device. Please read the follow-
ing points carefully:
• The product is only suitable for dry, enclosed indoor areas. Do not expose
the product to direct sunlight, heat, cold, humidity or moisture; otherwise
it may be damaged.
• Protect the product from cold, heat, direct sunlight, dust and dirt.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, blows, or accidental falls, even
from a low height, damage it.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
Getting started
• Connect the SlimPort/MyDP adapter to a vacant SlimPort connector on your smart-
phone or tablet.
• By means of the HDMI cable connect the adapter's HDMI
™
HDMI port of your television set or monitor.

• On your TV or monitor select the proper HDMI
• When you start video playback on your mobile device, for example, it will then play
on your connected TV or monitor.
If the media file is in HD format and if your TV supports that, images or videos are
displayed in HD quality.
• You also have the option to charge your smartphone or tablet while it is connected
with the adapter. To do that, plug the Micro-USB 2.0 cable provided into the SlimPort
adapter's Micro-USB 2.0 input and connect it to your USB charging device.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product is maintenance-free. Maintenance or repair work may be performed only
by qualified personnel or a specialised repair shop. The product contains no parts that
require servicing. Therefore, do not open it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions under any circumstance; thereby you may damage the casing or
even impair operation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Please dispose of the product according to the current statutory require-
ments when it is no longer of use.
