If the battery voltage drops below 11.6 V, the alarm is triggered and sound is emitted
(beep). If the voltage drops below 11.4 V, the energiser switches off to protect the battery
from deep discharge (permanent damage to the battery). If a discharged battery and an
adapter are connected at the same time, the red LED lights up until the battery is charged
with at least 12 V.
LED BAR:
LED BAR is used in the VOSS.farming XTREME duo models to indicate the output voltage
on the fence. It consists of six LEDs - 2x red I 2x yellow I 2x green - arranged from bottom
to top. The LED BAR always passes the LEDs from the first red position to the indicated
position where it stops for a while.
The display states are as follows:
GREEN • over 8 kV

YELLOW
• 6-7 kV

• 5-6 kV
RED
• 3-5 kV

• under 3 kV – 1x red
Further important information about the model XTREME power cable and water-
proof plug
The VOSS.farming XTREME duo electric fencers have a mains cable and a waterproof
input plug for connecting the battery cable.
Note: The power cord is not removable.
When connected to mains and battery at the same time, the battery is easily charged.
A typical 12 V / 40 Ah car battery can be recharged within about 7 days when connected
to the mains at the same time.
The energiser must not be supplied with a voltage above 16 V via the 12
V battery connection. When connecting to a solar panel, a regulator
must be used; the energiser must not be connected directly to the solar
panel.
The VOSS.farming XTREME duo electric fencers have the same or lower power consump-
tion compared to other products. This saves energy and extends battery operation.
