Camera
Important information: Consider the following when selecting the camera position:
Range: The best range is achieved with a free line of sight between camera and monitor. Walls
made of steel and concrete lead to a reduction in range.
Lighting conditions: The camera should not be orientated towards direct, strong light sour-
ces/sunlight, since overexposed images may result.
Power supply: The camera's power supply unit must not be exposed to the weather in the open!
The plug-in connection of the power supply cable must be protected for preventing any moisture
from entering.
Mounting
Screw the antenna onto the antenna socket.
The camera mount is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting. First, install the camera only provisionally
and check whether the desired monitored area is completely covered before you drill holes for
the camera mount! Make sure that no cables or conducts are placed in the wall which may be
damaged when drilling!
Mark the desired position for the three drilling holes of the fixing screws by using the holes in the
camera mount as drilling jig.
Drill the mounting holes and fix the bracket with the plugs and screws provided.
To adjust the horizontal and vertical alignment of the camera, turn the adjustment ring counterclo-
ckwise to release it.
Now adjust the camera to the desired position and angle. Then turn the adjustment ring clockwise
to fix the position.
Plug the power supply unit (12 V DC/1 A) into a socket (230 V) and connect the plug to the DC
IN socket of the camera.
Monitor
Attach the stand to the monitor.
Place the monitor on a non-tilting, flat surface and adjust the screen according to the viewing
angle.
Screw the antenna onto the antenna socket.
Connect the USB mouse to the USB port.
If you want to access the system via smartphone, connect the monitor and your home network
with a LAN cable.
Plug the power supply (12 V DC/2 A) into a 230 V outlet and connect the plug to the DC IN socket
of the monitor.
Important note: After connecting the power supply, the monitor will turn on automatically.
Establishing the connection between monitor and camera
Monitor and camera are already connected at the factory.*
As soon as monitor and camera are switched on, it takes about 70 seconds until the image
of the camera is visible on the monitor.
*Note: Each additional camera (optionally available) must be connected individually to the monitor.
