WHERE To PLACE THE SMokE DETECToR
For reinforced protection:
• Place a detector in each room except kitchen and
bathroom
• Place a detector on each floor, close to sleeping areas (for
example in the corridor leading to bedrooms. For a long
corridor > 10m, place a detector on each side).
PoSITIoNING oF THE DETECToR
The detector is best positioned in the center of the room
on the ceiling, and in all cases :
• Over 20 cm away from obstacles (wall, separation, beam,
...).
• Over 60 cm away from room corners.
If not possible, install your detector on the wall:
• 15 to 25 cm from the ceiling.
• Over 60 cm away from room corners.
If you install your NOXE «lumens» in the suspended lamp
base configuration, be sure to leave at least 30cm cable
and clearance between the smoke detector and the lamp
shade.
Important : do not place your detector in the following
!
• Bathrooms, laundry rooms, or any confined, humid
room
where condensation may occur
• Kitchens, garages with low air circulation, and all
rooms
where fumes and smoke occur in normal conditions
