Security Advice for using the
Deuter Kid Comfort child carriers:
Deuter Kid Comfort child carriers are TÜV tested and carry the GS
(safety tested) label. For your childs safety, please consider the fol-
lowing safety points each time you use the Kid Comfort child carriers.
The Kid Comfort child carriers are not suitable for small
children who are not yet able to sit up by themselves.
The maximum capacity is 22 kg. (child 18 kg + pack 4 kg)
Only carry the child with the safety belt securely fastened.
Ensure the safety belt is adjusted correctly to fit your child.

Even though the Kid Comfort can stand upright by itself, do
not leave your child unobserved in the seat. Even the most sta-
ble child carrier can tip over!
Remaining seated for a long period can limit blood circulation
in the child's legs. There fore it is advisable to make stops for
exercise at regular intervals!
Please consider when using:
• As the child's head could be higher than yours, pay attention to bran-
ches, door frames and other similar obstacles. • Caution: unexpected
motion may affect your balance. • The bearer should avoid any sudden
movements that may throw the child off balance. • The child carrier is
appropriate for leisure activities and not sporting activities. • Be aware that
your child may suffer from the effect of weather and temperature before you
do! • To protect your child's feet from injury, be careful when you put the
child carrier down or when the child carrier is on or near the ground.
