5�6 Accessories

5.6.1 GSD File

In order to commission the motor with Profinet, it is
necessary to install the GSD-File.
Using the Siemens SIMATIC S7®, the following
steps must be taken in the Hardware Config.:
,Options' → ‚Install GSD File...'.
In the window, choose the GSD-File, either on
the Hard drive or a CD, and install.
Afterwards, the motor can be loaded into the Profinet-
Network.
Using the Siemens Simatic S7 Hardware Catalog locate
the motor using the following path:
→ PROFINET-DP → Additional Field Devices → Drives
→ Dunkermotoren → Dunkermotoren → Modul
PN.
Lastly the motors address must be adjusted.

6 Types of operation

You can find additional information about the types of
operation in the profinet manual.
6�1 Velocity mode
In the 'Velocity Mode' a given motor rotational speed is
retained as long as a new speed is set. The rotational
speed is controlled.
6�2 Positioning mode
The positioning mode is used for the positioning of a
start- to a target point. The positioning ensues in regard
to a neutral point (absolute) or the current position (rela-
tive).
6�3 Firmware-Update
A Firmware-Update through the Profinet interface is
possible.

5.6.1 GSD-Datei

Um den Motor am Profinet-Netzwerk in Betrieb zu neh-
men, muss zunächst die GSD-Datei installiert werden.
Bei der Siemens SIMATIC S7® müssen in der Hard-
ware Konfig folgende Schritte ausgeführt werden:
Im Menü ‚Extras' → ‚GSD-Dateien installieren ...'.
Im Fenster die GSD-Datei auswählen (abgelegt auf der
Festplatte oder auf CD) und installieren.
Anschließend kann der Motor in das Profinet-Netzwerk
eingefügt werden.
Bei der Siemens SIMATIC S7® wird der Motor unter
folgendem Pfad im Hardware Katalog gefunden:
→ PROFINET-DP → Weitere FELDGERÄTE → An-
triebe → Dunkermotoren → Dunkermotoren → Modul
PN.
Anschließend muss noch die richtige Adresse des Mo-
tors eingestellt werden.

6 Betriebsarten

6�1 Drehzahlbetrieb
Im ‚Velocity Mode' wird eine Motordrehzahl vorgege-
ben, die so lange gehalten wird bis eine neue Drehzahl
gesetzt wird. Die Drehzahl wird geregelt.
6�2 Positionierbetrieb
Der Positionierbetrieb dient der Positionierung
einem Start- zu einem Zielpunkt. Die Positionierung
erfolgt in Bezug auf einen Nullpunkt (absolut) oder auf
die aktuelle Position (relativ).
6�3 Firmware-Update
Ein Firmware-Update über die Profinet-Schnittstelle ist
möglich.
