Attention
Defective power cables of the transformer may not be repaired or changed. In case of defec-
tive power cables, the whole transformers must be changed.
Mounting and installation of the Intercom Servers and of the equipment may be carried out
by authorised service personnel only.
Warning: This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio
interference in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.
Before exchanging of cards, ESD precautions must be observed. The Earth terminal
of the installation board G8A-GEN is used as grounding point for Wrist Strap Groun-
ding. Cards may be exchanged only while the voltage is switched off.
If heavy electromagnetic interference is to be expected (industrial environments), then
grounding of the Intercom Server is mandatory.
