18823 XL Support arm
set for 18811 Stacker
INTENDED USE
Both support arms with a length of 400 mm carry on
the 2nd level the corresponding equipment
They replace the standard support arms (330 mm)
of the 18811 stacker
FEATURES & CAPABILITIES
- load capacity: 25 kg
- upgradable for a 3rd level (= K&M 18822)
- adjustable in height, inclination and depth position

instructions carefully. They inform you about all necessary and
important steps concerning safe installation and operation. We
recommend that you keep them for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Max. load capacity: 25kg
- NOTE: The greater depth of the support may possibly
-
lead to a gravity shift of the entire installation.

Therefore, it is important to observe the following:
-
a. loading sequence:

first the 1st - then the 2nd - and finally the 3rd level

b. unloading sequence:

first the 3rd - then the 2nd - and finally the 1st level

c. the maximum load capacity of the 3rd level (18822)
- c.
is now 12 kg instead of 15 kg
- Please observe the safety instructions of the keyboard
-
stand (»Omega« 18810, 18820) as well as those of
-
the stacker (18811):
- Always tighten the locking clamping screw
- Ensure that the screw connection is tight
- Support arms b should always be adjusted to the
-
same height, depth and inclination
- Place the rubber supports a so that the keyboard
-
is secure and wobble-free, as possible.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. COMPONENTS
Please carry out a visual check that all parts
are present and, as far as recognisable, in order
a rubber pads ø 20 x 5 mm, self-adhesive (4x)
b support tube 440 mm long (2x) (2x)
c end cap (4x)
d rubber protector (stop) (2x)
2. PREPARATION of the 18811 stacker
2.1 Fasten the 18811 stacker to »Omega«, if necessary.
2.1.1 Predefine the desired distance between the

two supports.
2.1.2 Screw L-base tubes onto the cross tube using
2.1.2
carriage bolts, washer and clamping nuts.
2.1.3 Mount the second attachment tube in the same way.
2.2 Disassemble the previous support tubes (330 mm).
2.2.1 Keep the loosened screw connections.

3.1 Place the first support tube against the 18811 stacker

whilst observing the desired depth position (4 possibi-

lities) - see chapter 7. DEPTH OF ATTACHMENT.
3.2 Use the retained screw connections 2.2.1 to screw

the 18823 support tube to 18811 stacker. The screw

direction is choosable.
3.3 NOTE: now mount the second support tube,
paying attention that both supports have the

same depth (pos.1-1 ... 4-4)

Different depths represent a hazard!

4.1 Remove rear end caps of XL support arms
4.2 For assembly see instructions (chap. 4)

4.3 NOTE: For balancing reasons the maximum load

of the 18822 stacker is reduced from 15 kg to 12 kg.
4.4 NOTE: The use of the 18822 stacker limits the depth

of the 18823 XL support arm to a max. of 434 mm.
