Two-device amplifier
Item no. 1377963
Intended use
The two-device amplifier splits an existing antenna line and allows you to share it on
two devices. The antenna signal is amplified accordingly.
The product may only be connected to suitable antenna connections (terrestrial an-
tenna or broadband cable systems).
Only a proper wall socket connected to the public mains with a voltage of 230 V/50 Hz
may be used as power supply.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not al-
lowed. Do not expose to moisture, under any circumstances.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later reference.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Explanation of symbols
A triangle containing a lightning symbol indicates a health hazard, e.g., elec-
tric shock. The device contains no parts that should be serviced by the user.
Therefore, do not open the device.

instructions.
Safety instructions
F irst, read the complete operating instructions carefully, as they contain
important information about the proper operation.
D amage due to not following these operating instructions will void the
warranty! We do not assume any liability for any resulting damage!
W e do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void!
• For safety reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modification to the
product is not permitted.
• The device is designed in compliance with Protection Class II and may
only be powered by a wall socket connected to the public power supply.
• Never touch the device when your hands are wet or damp. There is dan-
ger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• In order to fully disconnect the device from the mains, it must be un-
plugged from the power socket.
• The manufacturers' safety instructions for the devices to be connected
must also be observed. Please read other relevant operating instructions
carefully.
• Do not use the product, if it is damaged.
• This product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children.
Children cannot fully comprehend the dangers associated with electrical
devices.
• Never pour out any liquids above electrical devices. Do not place any
containers with liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, in the immedi-
ate proximity of the product. Liquids could get inside the device and thus
impair electrical safety. There is danger of fire or a life-threatening elec-
tric shock! If liquid has leaked into the device, switch off the respective
mains socket (e.g. residual current circuit breaker) and unplug the power
adapter from the socket. Do not use the product after that and take it to a
specialist workshop.
• The device may not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions, high humidity (e.g. droplets or splashes of water) or substantial me-
chanical stress.
• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or near the device.
• Use the device only in temperate climate zones, do not use in tropical cli-
mates.
• Do not leave packaging materials unattended. It may become a dangerous
plaything for children.
• Consult an expert, if you are still in doubt how the product functions, or
regarding safety or connection issues.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating in-
structions, please contact our technical support centre or consult a pro-
fessional.
Connection and start-up
B e careful when dealing with mains connections. Mains voltage may
cause fatal electric shocks.
M ake sure that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds with the
mains voltage of your power supply. Never attempt to operate the device
with any other voltage.
T he mains socket to which the device is connected must be near the device
and easily accessible, so that the device can be quickly isolated from the
mains power supply in the event of any fault.
• Unplug the existing antenna cable of your receiving device (TV or radio) from your
antenna socket.
• Connect the integrated antenna cable of the two-device amplifier to the antenna
socket where your receiving device was plugged in before.
• Connect your receiving device's antenna cable which you removed previously to
one of the free antenna connectors "TV1" or "TV2".
• You have the option to connect one more television set or radio to the two-device
amplifier.
• Plug the two-device amplifier into the suitable wall socket and start using it.
Maintenance and cleaning
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Do not use aggressive detergents as these can cause discolouration of the case.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclables and must not be disposed of in the
household waste!
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
