Acccessories
The logic probe is supplied complete with the following accessories
which may be attached to the probe tip to aid connection:-
1. Spring hook adaptor
2. I.C. tip adaptor
3. Tip insulator
Instruction for use
The C-MOS logic probe has input threshold levels set to 0.3Vpp (logic
0) and 0.7vpp (logic 1) and hence is suitable for checking all C-MOS
logic systems operating from 5V-15V supplies.
Green and red LED's are used to indicate logic 'O' and logic '1'
respectively. The logic state of the relevant I.C. pin can then be
determined by applying the probe tip and observing the response of the
two LED's. The built in pulse stretcher permits the detection and
indication of pulses down to 100ns. Both the tip and power supply
connections are protected against over and reverse voltages.
Note: Power must be derived from the supply rails of the logic system
under test via the red (positive) and black (earth) crocodile clips.
