Functional Description
The insect repellent P7898 generates a permanent 6 kHz sound.
Mosquitoes and similar insects find this sound unpleasant. This repels such animals or keeps them away
from the range of action of the device.
The insect repellent can be easily carried along anywhere, owing to its battery-powered operation and its
compact and light design. The preferred places of use are bedrooms, living rooms, caravans, etc.
Inserting the Batteries
• Remove the cover of the battery compartment from below.
• Insert the batteries (2x 1.5V Mignon batteries; type AA) in the battery compart-
ment, while paying attention to the correct polarity.
• Close the battery compartment.
Only use batteries of the prescribed type. Use alkaline batteries to achieve as long a period of
operation as possible.
Cold temperatures have a negative influence on the service life of the batteries (reduced operat-
ing time).

Setup and Start-up
The device should be set up to be free-standing. However, the device can be mounted on the wall using the
two openings on the device's rear panel.
