Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.

No electricity to socket.
Compressor off,

Desired temperature has

Solutions, tips
Check by connecting another appliance.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.
Further cooling not required. When the
inside temperature rises, the compressor
automatically turns on.
The appliance requires 2 hours to allow
the refrigerant to settle.
Turn down the thermostat control (see
„Operation" on page EN-11).
Turn the thermostat control to a higher
cooling position (see „Operation" on page
EN-11).
See „Check and clean the cover seals" on
page EN-16.
Change location.
The maximum freezing capacity in the
event of a fault is shown on the appliance's
type plate.
Defrost the freezer (see „Defrosting and
cleaning the chest freezer" on page EN-17).
Adjust the ambient temperature (see „In-
tended use" on page EN-5).
Set the thermostat control to the highest
level. If the compressor does not switch on
within an hour, please contact our service
department (see page EN-24).
