1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Dieser Lautsprecher ist speziell für den Einsatz in ELA-
Anlagen konzipiert. Er ist mit einem Übertrager für den Be-
trieb an 100-V-Anlagen ausgestattet. Die Anpassung der
Anschlussleistung erfolgt über die Auswahl der Anschluss-
klemmen. Als 2-Wege-System ist der Lautsprecher für
Sprach- und Musikwiedergabe geeignet. Der Lautspre-
cher ist aus Hochtemperatur-ABS-Material gefertigt und
temperaturfest bis 100 °C. Er ist wetterfest (IP 44), UV-be-
ständig und salzwasserresistent (getestet nach ASTM
B117, Salzwassersprühtest 400 h). Damit eignet er sich
auch für die Außeninstallation oder den Einsatz im Sauna-
oder Schwimmbadbereich.

1 Applications
This speaker is specially designed for applications in PA
systems. It is equipped with a transformer for operation at
100 V systems. The connected load is matched via selec-
tion of the terminals. As a 2-way system, the speaker is
ideally suited for reproducing speech and music. The
speaker is made of a high-temperature ABS material and
is temperature-resistant up to 100 °C. It is weatherproof
(IP 44), resistant to UV radiation and salt water (tested ac-
cording to ASTM B117, salt spray test 400 h). Thus, it is
also suitable for outdoor installations or for applications in
sauna areas or swimming pool areas.

1 Possibilités d'utilisation
Ce haut-parleur est spécialement conçu pour une utilisation
dans des installations de Public Adress. Il est équipé d'un
transformateur pour un fonctionnement dans des installa-
tions 100 V. L'adaptation de la puissance connectée s'effec-
tue via la sélection de bornes de branchement. Ce haut-
parleur est adapté, en tant que système 2 voies, pour la
restitution de musique et discours. Il est réalisé en matériau
ABS résistant aux températures élevées et résiste jusqu'à
100 °C. Il est résistant aux intempéries (IP 44), aux UV et à
l'eau salée (testé selon la norme ASTM B117, essai au
brouillard salin 400 h). Il est ainsi adapté pour une installa-
tion en extérieur ou dans des zones de sauna ou de piscine.

3 Montage
1) In die Decke ein entsprechend großes Loch sägen
(siehe technische Daten).
2) Den elektrischen Anschluss herstellen (Kapitel 4).
3) Die vier Klemmarme nach oben klappen.
4) Den Lautsprecher mit leichtem Druck in die Deckenöff-
nung einsetzen, bis die Klemmarme umgeklappt sind
und den Lautsprecher an der Decke festklemmen.

3 Mounting
1) Saw a hole of the corresponding size into the ceiling
(see specifications).
2) Make the electrical connection (chapter 4).
3) Fold the four clamps upwards.
4) Insert the speaker into the ceiling cutout by exerting a
slight pressure until the clamps are folded down and
the speaker is clamped on the ceiling.

3 Montage
1) Découpez un trou de taille adéquate dans le plafond
(voir caractéristiques techniques).
2) Effectuez le branchement électrique (chapitre 4).
3) Dépliez les quatre bras à pince vers le haut.
4) Insérez par une légère pression le haut-parleur dans
l'ouverture du plafond jusqu'à ce que les bras à pince
. se replient pour fixer le haut-parleur au plafond.

Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem Be-
trieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie ihn
zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem örtli-
chen Recyclingbetrieb.

finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.

4 Elektrischer Anschluss
Warnung: Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefährliche

Spannung bis 100 V an den Anschlüssen an.
Die Installation darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfol-
gen. Achten Sie auf die richtige Leistungsanpas-
sung. Eine falsche Anpassung kann den ELA-Ver-
stärker zerstören!
1) Falls die ELA-Anlage eingeschaltet ist, diese zuerst
komplett ausschalten!
2) Den Lautsprecher anschließen: Die Anschlussklemme
COM und die Klemme, die mit der gewünschten
Nennleistung bezeichnet ist, mit dem 100-V-Ausgang
des Verstärkers verbinden.
Beim Anschluss von mehreren Lautsprechern darauf ach-
ten, dass die Lautsprecher alle gleich gepolt werden
(COM-Klemme = Minuspol) und dass der Verstärker nicht
überlastet wird.
4 Electrical Connection
Warning: During operation, there is a hazard of

contact with a voltage of up to 100 V at the connec-
tions.
The installation must always be carried out by
skilled personnel only. Observe the correct power
matching. An incorrect matching may damage the
PA amplifier!
1) If the PA system is switched on, switch it off completely
before connecting it!
2) Connect the speaker: Connect the terminal COM and
the terminal marked with the desired power rating to
the 100 V output of the amplifier.
When connecting several speakers, make sure that all
speakers have the same polarity (COM terminal = nega-
tive pole) and that the PA amplifier is not overloaded.
4 Branchement électrique
Avertissement : Pendant le fonctionnement, une

tension de contact dangereuse jusqu'à 100 V est
présente aux branchements. Seul un personnel
qualifié peut effectuer l'installation.
Veillez à adapter la puissance correctement. Une
puissance erronée peut endommager l'amplifica-
teur Public Adress !
1) Si l'installation Public Adress est allumée, veillez à la
débrancher totalement !
2) Reliez le haut-parleur : reliez la borne COM et la borne
repérée avec la puissance nominale souhaitée à la sor-
tie 100 V de l'amplificateur.
Si plusieurs haut-parleurs sont branchés, veillez à ce que
les haut-parleurs aient tous la même polarité (borne COM
= pôle moins) et que l'amplificateur ne soit pas en
surcharge.
