10. Cleaning and maintenance

This product does not require any maintenance. Never attempt to dismantle it.
A dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents,
which can cause discolouration or damage. Never press too hard on the monitor's LC screen or
the wireless camera lens to avoid scratches.

11. Troubleshooting

Monitor will not turn on
• Charge the monitor.
No camera image
• Check whether the wireless camera is connected to the voltage/power supply. If you unplug
the wireless camera and then plug it in again in a few seconds, the wireless camera speaker
should output a voice message that the system is starting.
• The wireless camera is too far away from the monitor or there are thick walls or large metal
objects between the wireless camera and the monitor.
• Do not place the wireless camera and monitor next to other radio devices (e.g. Wi-Fi routers).
• Select the correct channel in the camera menu (see section 9. g).
• If the problem persists after observing the aforementioned instructions, you can reset the
monitor (see section 9. g) and the wireless camera (see section 9. l) one at a time.
Camera image is only black and white
• This is normal. The wireless camera is in night mode (dark room), the IR LEDs are activated.
In this mode, colour reproduction is principally impossible.
Wireless camera clicks
• This is normal. The mechanical action of the integrated wireless camera IR filter produces
noise when switching on (sufficient ambient brightness, colour display on the monitor) or off
(ambient brightness too low, black and white display on the monitor).
Noise detection too sensitive or too insensitive
• Select a different sensitivity setting (see section 9. g).
