• If the device is used in the bathroom please remove the plug from the socket
after use as the proximity of water represents a hazard. This also applies if the
device is switched off.
• Attention: Please allow the device to cool down before changing the attach-
ment! Danger of burning!
• Always remove the plug from the socket after use.
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault current pro-
tection device (RCD) with a rated current of not more than 30 mA in the wiring
system of the bathroom. Please contact an authorised electrician for advice.
When the multicurler is switched on for the fi rst time there may be a slight smell.
For this reason you should operate the device for approximately 10 minutes with
the curling tongs. Place the device on the base below the handle, ensuring suffi -
cient ventilation!
1. Fully unwind the mains cable.
2. Select an attachment and push it over the heating rod.
3. Please ensure that the attachment is fi xed fi rmly in the handle. Turn the attach-
ment tight with the turn-lock fastener above the handle.
4. Insert the plug into a duly installed 230V/50Hz protective contact socket. Push
the on/off switch upwards; the green control lamp in the handle lights up. After
approximately 5-10 minutes the device is ready to use.
Curling Tongs/Brush Attachment:
• Curl your towel-dry hair evenly on the round brush or shape your hair with
the curling tongs into the desired style.
• Press the button above the handle to open the curling tongs. Insert the
strands of hair between the two halves of the curling tongs and curl them
up until just before the hairline.
• In order to use the brush attachment, push it over the closed curling tongs.
Please ensure that the brush attachment is locked in place and fi rmly
attached.

• Carefully unwind the rolled-up strands of hair again.
5. Please place the device on the base below the handle during breaks, when it
is not being used for a short time or if you wish to allow it to cool down.
6. If you would like to change the attachment, allow it to cool down, release the
turn-lock fastener and pull the attachment off towards the front.
