warnings
Please read the instructions before using the machine.
• Keep away from children & uninstructed persons. Avoid leaving
the machine unwatched.
• Inspect the machine carefully before use and make sure
that there is no crack, no deep scratch nor any other damage
preventing it from being in working order.

Check that the DomePod
is clean and greaseless.
• Do not try to exceed the maximum pressure of 16 bar (green
zone on the pressure indicator).
• Only use ground coffee for espressos.
• Only pour water in the reservoir.
• Never press the infusion button if the portafi lter is not properly
locked and tightened up to the locking indicator; step 12 in the
instructions. Check that the DomePod
to brew the coffee.
• Do not try to remove the portafi lter during usage and before
having pushed the infusion button back up.
• Beware of coffee projections and beware of the direction of
the nozzle during use. Remove the portafi lter with care after
having prepared your expresso. Beware of the remaining water
in the reservoir, namely if you have made a strong expresso
called "Ristretto".
• If you burn yourself, immediately pour cold water on the burnt
area and call a doctor if necessary.
• The machine should be used between 5°C and 50°C (41°F
and 122°F), and under normal atmospheric pressure conditions
(from 0 to 3000 m altitude).
• Do not try to repair the machine or replace parts yourself:
contact an authorized retailer for this type of repair.
• The machine is not suited for professional use.
• Do not use the machine for any other purpose.

Handpresso cannot accept responsibility or liability in case of
incorrect use.
• Do not hesitate to replace the DomePod
trace of wear, crack or break. The DomePod
enable you to prepare around 500 espressos. You will fi nd
the new DomePods

• Have the water reservoir and the portafi lter replaced by an
authorized technician every 5000 espressos or every 5 years
if you have not reached the 5000 espressos in that period
of time.
What to do in the following cases:
• The pump is blocked & I cannot pump?

is there before starting
Unlock the handle (step 2 in the instructions).
• I pump, but the pressure does not rise?
Check that the infusion button is up (step 1 in the
instructions).
Make sure to pump till the stop.
Contact the authorized technician if the pressure still does
not rise.
• The water drips from the portafi lter?
Check the position and the state of the rubber ring on the
fi lling opening.
Tighten the portafi lter properly (step 7 in the instructions).
Replace the rubber ring on the fi lling opening if it is faulty
(dry, cracked, damaged or cut).
• The expresso is brewed too quickly?
Refer to "some useful recommendations" § 2. If the problem
remains, check the DomePod
(dry, cracked, damaged or cut) or if the fi lter is broken.
