BEFORE USE

Before initial use, the appliance should
be preheated for 10 minutes with the
lid closed. This will remove the smell
typically encountered when first switching
on the appliance. Please ensure sufficient
ventilation.
Grease the hotplates lightly using cooking
oil.
USE
• Place the appliance on a level
surface. Plug in. The red and the
green indicator light comes on and
the appliance begins to heat up.
• When the green indicator light goes
off, the appliance has reached the
correct temperature and is ready for
use.
• Open the lid so that the top hotplate
is vertical. Now place the food on the
bottom hotplate.
• Close the lid so that the top hotplate
rests on the food. Secure the lock to
keep the lid down.
• Both hotplates on the appliance are
heated, which reduces the cooking
time.
• During cooking, the green indicator
light will come on and go off several
times. This merely means that the
thermostat is coming on and going off
from time to time.
• You can stop the cooking process at
any time by removing the plug from
the socket.

• Once the food is ready, open the
appliance carefully.
