Intended use
This product is designed to control the On/Off functions for submerged or surface water pumps.
The product is intended for private and domestic use only.
Before first use, read all safety instructions carefully and ensure that you understand them.
Always follow the safety instructions to minimise the risk of damage and injuries to persons
and/or animals. Keep this manual for future reference.
Any other use different from that stated in this manual may cause damage to the product and
present serious danger to the user or bystanders.
The safety precautions and instructions given in this manual are unable to cover all potential
conditions and situations that may arise while using the product.
The operator and/or user must use common sense and caution when operating the product,
especially for any conditions and situations that are not referred to in this manual.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described, the product may be damaged. In addition,
improper use can result in hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe
place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting per-
sonal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Do not let bystanders touch the product or its power cable.
• Only well-instructed adults should operate the product. The product is not
intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Ensure that the electrical connection is made within a dry area that is protected
from water.
• Before the electrical connection is made, check that the power source voltage
matches the data indicated on the product (see Technical Data section).
• Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases,
steam, and solvents.
• Only use the product in a clean and well-lit operating area.
• Only operators or users should be in the operating area. Keep children, animals,
and bystanders away from the product and operating area.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• Do not abuse the power cable and keep it away from heat, oil, sharp edges, fatty
parts, and damp or wet environments. Inspect the product cable periodically and
if damaged, have it repaired/replaced by an authorised service facility or discard
the product.
• Always switch off the mains supply before disconnecting the plug of the connected
device, electrical connections or extension cords. Wind the cable carefully to
avoid tying knots. Unplug the product from the electrical outlet when not in use.
• If the power cable's sheath is cut or damaged, do not touch the cable. Immediately
switch off the power supply and have the power cable replaced by a qualified
technician to avoid any danger. Discard the faulty cable.
• Check damaged parts. Before further use or reuse, the product should be
carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its
intended function.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- Is visibly damaged,
- Is no longer working properly,
- Has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions, or
- Has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Has been used in ways other than those specified in this manual.
• Has been used by an operator under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or
medication.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall, even from a low
height, can cause damage to the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, safety, or connection of
the appliance.
• Maintenance, modifications, and repairs must only be completed by a technician
or an authorised repair centre.
• When not in use, the product should be stored in a dry, high, and secure location
out of the reach of children.
• If you have questions that remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Caution:
• To avoid damaging the components, do not attempt to open or repair the PCB
without professional guidance.
• The operating range may be affected by environmental factors and nearby
sources of interference.
• The user and/or operator are responsible for any damage or injury caused to
property and/or persons.
b) Connected devices

Getting started
1. Unpacking
• Remove the product from its packaging and check that it and any accessories are not
damaged before use.
2. Installing the ballast weight
• Insert the electric cable (2) through the ballast weight (3).
• Adjust the ballast weight to the required height. The height to which the ballast weight
is attached determines the floating switch tripping height (starting or stopping the pump).
3. Connecting the cable
Note: It is recommended that a qualified electrician carries out the connection. The con-
nection between the electrical cable (2) and the pump cable must be done in a closed and
completely sealed enclosure (for example, a connection box).
Do not immerse the connection box.
The pump must be connected to a power plug with an earth connection.
• Connect the blue wire (of the Floating switch cable) to the motor wire of the electric pump
(replacing the original wire).
• Connect the brown wire (of the Floating switch cable) to the original neutral wire (blue) of
the pump.
