Replacing the rechargeable battery

WARNING
!
Do not remove or replace the rechargeable battery in areas
subject to possible explosion.
1. Remove both screws with an appropriate hex key.
2. Pull the rechargeable battery out of the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic.
3. Insert a charged NiMH battery into the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic.
4. Fasten both screws with an appropriate hex key.

Errors and warnings

4.1

Errors

Errors will be displayed together with the corresponding icon and
a code number or a written hint. The red LEDs will flash until
acknowledged with the "OK" key.

Remedy
filter does not fit Repeat leak test. If leak test
failed, check the SO
correct seating or contact
DrägerService
Use new tube or sampling
system, check that SO
fits tight or contact
DrägerService.
Wait for 1 minute. Then clear
the error by either pressing the
"OK" key, using the correct
charger or contacting
DrägerService.
Replace rechargeable battery.
Contact DrägerService.
