USING Power-Start AS AN AUXILLIARY POWER SOURCE
The Power-Start can be used to maintain the vehicle's computer memory functions when the on-board battery is
disconnected. The optional lead with two cigarette lighter plugs is used for this purpose but can only be used with
12 Volt vehicle systems.

MAINTENANCE

The unit case must not be opened as there are no user serviceable parts inside and this will invalidate the warranty.
VOLTAGE "SPIKE" PROTECTION
The Power-Start has a spike protection system. This protection is in operation as long as the clamps are connected
to the vehicle, even when the unit key-switch is switched off. NEVER remove one of the clamps before the
Power-Start key-switch is switched off.
DISPOSAL
The battery inside the Power-Start is a sealed lead type. It must be removed and recycled or disposed of properly
at the end of its useful life.

ALGEMEEN
De draagbare stroombronnen van Power-Start zijn ontwikkeld om voertuigen met een lege 12 V accu te helpen
starten. Met het oog op een veilig en probleemloos gebruik van uw Power-Start verzoeken wij u onderstaande
instructies op te volgen.
BELANGRIJKE INFORMATIE
VEILIGHEID
VEROORZAAK NOOIT KORTSLUITING MET DE Power Start. LET ALTIJD GOED OP DE POLARITEIT EN DE
SYSTEEMSPANNING ALS U DE Power-Start AANSLUIT.
Indien u dit verzuimt, kan een GEVAARLIJKE situatie ontstaan en kunnen het apparaat of het voertuig schade
oplopen. Dit kan ertoe leiden dat de garantie vervalt. Verwijder persoonlijke zaken zoals ringen, armbanden en
horloges als u werkt met een auto-accu. De Power-Start is uitsluitend geschikt om voertuigen met een standaard
12 V accu te starten. Schakel het apparaat uit als u dit niet gebruikt.
WAARSCHUWING
De Power-Start moet voor het eerste gebruik tenminste 16 uur worden opgeladen. Korter opladen kan de
levensduur van het product aanzienlijk verkorten en kan ertoe leiden dat de garantie vervalt.
LADEN
LADINGSTOESTAND CONTROLEREN
De ladingstoestand dient u ten minste 2 uur na het laden te controleren. Zorg ervoor dat de kabels in het vak zijn
opgeborgen en dat de klemmen geen kortsluiting maken. Schakel de Power-Start in. De LEDs geven bij
benadering de batterijconditie van het apparaat aan. Schakel de Power-Start daarna uit.
