later use.
1 Applications
The speaker system PAK-308M / SW is suited for
numerous PA applications and can be used in
fixed installations and for mobile applications. It

stand using the stand sleeve.
The speaker box is designed as an 8 / 2 full-
range bass reflex system and is equipped with
a 20 cm bass speaker (8") and a coaxial
25 mm tweeter (1"). A digital amplifier (class D,
300 W
) is used for bass frequencies, and an
RMS
analog amplifier (class A / B, 70 W
for high frequencies. The audio signals pass a
digital signal processor (DSP) including a signal
limiter.

3 Connections and Control Elements
Prior to connecting or changing connections,
.
always switch off the speaker system and the
units to be connected!
1 Input signal switch to switch between micro-
phone level and line level for input A
2 Switch for sound adjustment
MUSIC
= music reproduction
FLAT
= no sound modification
LOWCUT = filter for suppressing low fre-
quencies (≤ 120 Hz) activated
3 LED indicators
ON = power indicator
SIG = signal indicator
CLIP = overload indicator
4 Volume control MASTER
CAUTION Never adjust a very high vol-
accustomed to high volumes which do not
seem to be that high any more after some
time. Therefore, do not further increase a
high volume after getting used to it.
5 POWER switch
6 Inputs (XLR / 6.3 mm jack, bal.) to connect
units with line outputs (mixer, MP3 / CD player,
etc.)
When the input signal switch (1) has been
set to the position MIC, a microphone can be
connected to the upper jack A.
7 Feed-through outputs
At these outputs, the signals of the corre-
sponding input jack (6) are available so that
they can be sent to another active speaker
system, for example.
8 Output jack MIX OUT
At this jack, the mixed signal of the two input
jacks (6) is available; the level depends on
the position of the control MASTER (4).
9 Support for the mains fuse
Always replace a blown fuse by one of the
same type.
10 Mains jack for connection to a mains socket
