Operation

Carobrake pulls the parking brake with a power of up to 170 kg via an actuator,
mounted inside or under the vehicle. Carobrake pulls the original parking brake wire
of the vehicle.

Applying the parking brake
Press the switch for applying the parking brake and let go. The switch lamp will imme-
diately shine but the parking brake will not be entirely pulled until after 5 -10 seconds.
You can hear a buzzing sound which will stop as soon as the parking brake is applied.
Releasing the parking brake
Please note that it takes 5 - 10 seconds before the parking brake is released, after the
button has been pressed. It is important NOT to set the vehicle in motion before
the parking brake is entirely released. This can be noticed by listening to when the
buzzing sound has stopped.
• The product documentation must always be available during inspection of the vehicle.
