Using the RingFlash 250 Frequency Detector
Preparing the frequency detector (RFS01)
The frequency detector is used to pick-up the acoustic
signals (ringing or buzzing) issued by your existing smoke
alarm. The signals detected are then transmitted to the
RingFlash 250 base station and issued as the type of sig-
nal alarm previously selected. If your frequency detector is
used in connection with a smoke alarm, the base station
generates a special alarm signal. Proceed as follows to
1. Unscrew the housing screw (5) out of the cover of the
frequency detector.
2. Remove the loose, unscrewed cover from the
housing (2) of the frequency detector.
