7.5 - REMOVING A COLUMN FROM THE
STAND

7.50 - The columns of the stand are
designed to withstand the normal rigours of
location work.
In the event of damage, columns can easily
be replaced.
It is also simple to modify the maximum and
minimum height of the stand by adding or
removing columns.
7.51 - Make sure that the stand is not
loaded, that the columns are completely
retracted and the wheels locked (fig. 22)
- Loosen screw "S" (fig. 23) on the collar of
the column.
- Pull the column "T1" (fig. 23) and its Collar
out and Whilst doing this make sure the
three Teflon guides "U" (fig. 23) are not left
inside the column "T2" (fig. 23)
- Place wire attachment plate "Z" (fig. 24)
mounting the top bushing "V" and secure
it with the three screws "W" supplied with
the transformation kit.

7.52 - Adding a raiser column.
Make sure that the stand is not loaded, that
the columns are all completely retracted and
the wheels locked.
Remove the screws "W" (fig. 24) holding the
eyelets "Z" and take the spotlight socket "V"
out from the top riser.
Remove the tape on the Teflon guides at the
base of the column extension.
Insert the column collar over the stand top
column and then insert the extension column
into the collar making sure the Teflon guides
"U" (fig. 23) do not fall out.
Make sure the collar is resting fully on the
lower column, use a plastic headed hammer
if necessary but make sure the Teflon ring
"α" (fig. 25) on the inside of the collar is not
displaced.
Tighten screw "S" (fig. 25). Mount the crank
case on the collar (as explained in "Fitting
the crank case").

Anche questa parte essendo composta di
ingranaggi dovrà essere ingrassata e pulita
accuratamente ogni qualvolta lo stativo
venga usato in zone sabbiose o fangose.

7.50 - Le colonne di questo stativo sono
costruite per resistere all'usura e agli urti,
ma nell' ipotesi che vengano ugualmente
danneggiate si possono sostituire con
estrema facilità.
Questa caratteristica vi da anche la
possibilità di modificare l'altezza massima e
minima dello stativo a seconda delle vostre
specifiche esigenze.
7.51 - Rimozione di una colonna.
- Verificare che lo stativo sia bloccato, privo
di carico, con le colonne completamente
abbassate e con le ruote frenate (fig. 22).
- Allentare la vite "S" (fig. 23) e sfilare il
manicotto e la colonna superiore "T1" dalla
colonna inferiore "T2" facendo attenzione
che anche i tre pattini guida colonna "U"
siano fissati su di essa e non rimangano
all'interno dello stativo.
- Montare il disco "Z" per aggancio funi,
inserendo nella colonna terminale il relativo
bushing "V" (fig. 24), fissandolo con le tre
viti "W" contenute nel Kit di trasformazione
(per l'elenco dei kits vedi tabella in ultima
pagina).
7.52 - Aggiunta di una colonna.
- Verificare che lo stativo si trovi nelle stesse
condizioni del paragrafo precedente.
- Togliere le tre viti "W" che bloccano il
bushing "V" e sfilarlo dalla colonna.
- Inserire la colonna con i tre pattini "U"
già montati (il nastro adesivo che tiene i
tre pattini sulla colonna va tolto prima del
montaggio) facendo attenzione che essi
rimangano nelle loro sede.
- Infilare il manicotto facendo attenzione
che vada in battuta sul tubo (se necessario
usare un martello di plastica).
