USE

Never operate the appliance without supervision.
During operation, only place the device on the
supplied heat protection mat or on another heat-
resistant surface.
Improper or too frequent use of the device can cause hair
damage. Follow the operating instructions!
Preparation of the hair
• Wash the hair thoroughly before using the hairstyler. Doing so
allows to gain the best results.
• Rinse the hair well to remove shampoo residue. A final rinse
with cold water provides additional sheen.
• Dry your hair with a hairdryer. Always finish the drying with a
stream of cold air to maintain a smooth and glossy hair surface.
Devices with a cold air (cold shot) button are particulary
suitable.

Adjusting and switching on the device
Risk of burns! Avoid direct skin contact with the hot
plates.
• Plug the power plug into a properly installed power socket with
the alternating current specified on the device type plate.
• Select the desired temperature level with the temperature
switch (3):
- Position 1: 180 °C for fine and
sensitive hair (e.g. for light, bleached or
dyed hair)
- Position 2: 200 °C for normal and easy
to style hair
- Position 3: 220 °C for very thick hair
Note: Select a low temperature setting to start, and increase it as
needed.
• Switch on the device with the ON/OFF switch
(4) (position I).
• The indicator light for the selected
temperature blinks in the temperature display
(5) during heating and remains on and steady
once the operating temperature is reached.
• The electronic regulation keeps the plate temperature constant
during use.
• The device has an automatic safety function. The device
