1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Gerät LE-460 ist besonders für den Einsatz auf der Bühne, in der
Diskothek oder im privaten Partykeller geeignet. Durch das farbige Lauf-
licht wird eine ideale Dancefloor-Atmosphäre erzeugt. Das Gerät ist
nicht für den Dauerbetrieb geeignet; ununterbrochene Betriebsdauer
max. 1 Stunde.
2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Gerät entspricht der Richtlinie für elektromagnetische Verträg-
lichkeit 89/336/EWG und der Niederspannungsrichtlinie 73/23/EWG.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich. Schützen Sie es vor
Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
Berühren Sie während des Betriebs nicht die Reflektorstrahler – Ver-
brennungsgefahr bzw. lassen Sie sie nach dem Ausschalten einige
Minuten abkühlen, bevor Sie sie berühren.
Decken Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht ab (Hitzestau), und stecken Sie
keine Gegenstände hindurch – Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb bzw. ziehen Sie sofort den
Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, wenn:
1. sichtbare Schäden am Gerät oder an der Netzanschlußleitung vor-
handen sind,
2. nach einem Sturz oder ähnlichem der Verdacht auf einen Defekt
besteht,
3. Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Das Gerät wird mit lebensgefährlicher Netzspannung (230 V~) ver-
sorgt. Nehmen Sie deshalb nie selbst Eingriffe im Gerät vor. Durch
unsachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen
Schlages. Lassen Sie das Gerät in einer Fachwerkstatt reparieren.
Eine beschädigte Netzanschlußleitung darf nur durch den Hersteller
oder durch eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt ersetzt werden.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch,
auf keinen Fall Chemikalien oder Wasser.
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, falsch bedient oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung übernom-
men werden.
Soll das Gerät endgültig aus dem Betrieb genommen werden, über-
geben Sie es zur Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

1 Applications
The unit LE-460 is specially suited for stage, disco, and private party
applications. The coloured light sequencer creates an ideal dancefloor
atmosphere. The unit is not suitable for continuous operation; uninter-
rupted operating time 1 hour max.
2 Safety Notes
The unit corresponds to the directive for electromagnetic compatibility
89/336/EEC and to the low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
Only use the unit indoors. Protect it against humidity and heat (admis-
sible ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).
Never touch the reflector lamps during operation – risk of burning.
After switching off, let the reflector lamps cool down for some minutes
before touching them.
Do not cover the air vents (heat accumulation) and do not insert any
objects – risk of an electric shock!
Do not set the unit into operation or immediately disconnect the mains
plug from the mains socket if:
1. damage is visible at the unit or mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or similar accident,
3. there are malfunctions.
The unit is supplied with dangerous mains voltage (230 V~). In order
to prevent a shock hazard, do not open it. Leave servicing to author-
ized, skilled personnel only.
A damaged mains cable must only be replaced by the manufacturer
or authorized personnel.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any chemicals or water.
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally intended, if it is not
operated correctly or not repaired in an expert way, no liability for any
damage will be accepted.
If the unit is to be put out of operation definitively, take it to a local re-
cycling plant for disposal.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the
following code:
green/yellow = earth, blue = neutral, brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:

3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Das Gerät mit dem Montagebügel an geeigneter Stelle (Wand, Decke,
Stativ) festschrauben und in die gewünschte Richtung ausrichten.
2) Nach der Montage den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose stecken
(230 V~/50 Hz). Damit ist das Gerät eingeschaltet, die Strahler leuch-
ten nacheinander. Für einen besseren Bedienkomfort das Gerät an
eine Steckdose anschließen, die sich über einen Lichtschalter ein-
und ausschalten läßt.
3) Durch das im Gerät eingebaute Mikrofon läßt sich das Lauflicht im
Rhythmus von Musik steuern. Dazu eine Musikanlage einschalten
und auf entsprechende Lautstärke stellen. Sollte die Musiksteuerung
nicht optimal funktionieren, die Musiklautstärke oder den Abstand
zwischen Lautsprecher und Lauflicht verändern.
4) Zum Ausschalten den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen bzw.
den zugehörigen Lichtschalter ausschalten.
4 Reflektorstrahler auswechseln
Es dürfen nur Reflektorstrahler mit einer Leistung von max. 60 W ein-
gesetzt werden. Aus dem Sortiment von MONACOR sind folgende
Strahler geeignet:
LR-80/BL (blau)
LR-80/GE (gelb)
LR-80/GN (grün)
LR-80/RT (rot)
1) Ziehen Sie vor dem Auswechseln eines Reflektorstrahlers unbedingt
den Netzstecker! Weil die Strahler im Betrieb sehr heiß werden, nach
dem Ziehen des Netzsteckers das Gerät mindestens 5 Minuten
abkühlen lassen.
2) Den defekten Strahler aus der Fassung schrauben.
3) Den neuen Reflektorstrahler nur am Glasrand anfassen. Hautfett und
-schweiß mindern die Leuchtkraft und brennen sich ein. Den Strahler
in die Fassung schrauben.

3 Setting into Operation
1) Screw the unit to a suitable location (wall, ceiling, stand) by means of
the mounting bracket and adjust it as desired.
2) After mounting, connect the mains plug to a mains socket (230 V~/
50 Hz). Thus, the unit is switched on and the reflector lamps light up
successively. For more convenient operation, connect the unit to a
mains socket to be switched on and off via a light switch.
3) Due to the microphone integrated into the unit, the light sequencer
can be controlled to the rhythm of music. For this purpose, switch on
a music system and adjust it to the desired volume. If there is no opti-
mum music control, adjust the music volume or the distance between
the speaker and the light sequencer.
4) To switch off the unit, disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket or switch off the corresponding light switch.
4 Replacing a Reflector Lamp
Only use reflector lamps with a wattage of 60 W max. From the
MONACOR range, the following reflector lamps are suitable:
LR-80/BL (blue), LR-80/GE (yellow), LR-80/GN (green), LR-80/RT (red)
1) Prior to replacing a reflector lamp it is essential to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket! As the reflector lamps become very
hot during operation, let the unit cool down for at least 5 minutes after
disconnecting it.
2) Unscrew the defective reflector lamp from the lampholder.
3) Touch the new reflector lamp on the edge of the glass only. Grease
and sweat from human skin reduce the light intensity and burn in.
Screw the reflector lamp into the lampholder.
