LED Light Strip with Remote Control
GB
Please read these operating instructions carefully prior
to operation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
This 5 m LED light strip with 150 RGB LEDs is used for
decorative lighting. A user-friendly wireless remote
controller allows to adjust the lighting colour and the
brightness of the LEDs and to select various light pro-
grams. The operating range is approx. 20 m.
2 Important Notes
The components of the LED set (controller, remote
controller, LED light strip and power supply unit) corre-
spond to all relevant directives of the EU (marking
WARNING
The power supply unit uses dangerous
mains voltage. Leave servicing to skilled
personnel only. Inexpert handling of the
unit may result in electric shock.
G
The LED set is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range: 0 – 40 °C). However, the LED strip is mois-
ture-proof (IP 65) and therefore also suitable for
damp locations.
G
Do not operate the controller and immediately dis-
connect the power supply unit from the socket
1. if the power supply unit, the controller or the LED
strip is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the LED set must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
G
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals. However, you may wipe the LED
strip with a damp cloth.
G
No guarantee claims for the individual components
and no liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the LED set is
used for other purposes than originally intended, if it
is not correctly connected or operated, or if it is not
repaired in an expert way.
If the LED set is to be put out of operation de-
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
ment.

3) Connect the power supply unit provided to the jack
INPUT (11) and to a mains socket (230 V~ / 50 Hz). If
you do not use the LED set for a longer period of
time, disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains socket; otherwise the controller and the
power supply unit will have a low power consump-
tion, even with the LEDs switched off.
3.2 Inserting / Replacing the batteries
To insert/replace the batteries, remove the cover of the
battery compartment on the rear side of the remote
controller. Insert three batteries of size AAA as indi-
cated in the compartment. Then close the cover.
To prevent damage to the remote controller due to
battery leakage, always remove the batteries if you do
not use the remote controller for a longer period of
time.
Used batteries must not be placed in the
household waste. To protect the environment,
always take them to a special waste disposal,
e. g. collection container at your retailer.
