Install the Express
550T Switch
Place the switch in a rack or on a shelf or
table, plug the cord in, and turn the power
on.
Connect devices
to the Switch
When connecting network devices to the
switch, make sure you use the right type of
cable (straight-through or crossover). See
the diagram to the right.
Check port LEDs
•
Verify that the Power LED is green.
•
The Port LEDs reflect the state of each port:
