Storage box

Intended use
This product is intended for the storage and transportation of hard drives without a case to protect
them from dust and dirt. Store either an 8.89 cm/3.5" hard drive or up to four 6.35 cm/2.5" hard
drives in the storage box.
If using the product for other purposes, as mentioned before, the product may become damaged
or cause injury. Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third
parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper
handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or
damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Storage of hard drives
a) Storing an 8.89 cm/3.5" hard drive
• Ensure that the partitions are placed laterally in the storage box.
• Place an 8.89 cm/3.5" hard drive into the storage box from above and carefully close the cover.
The fastener should click into place (see Fig. 1).
• The storage boxes are stackable (see Fig. 2).

b) Storage of multiple 6.35 cm/2.5" hard drives
• This storage box holds up to four 6.35 cm/2.5" hard drives.
• Remove the laterally-placed partitions (labelled A and A1) from the storage box (see Fig. 3)
• Place both A and A1 partitions with the cavity facing upwards onto a hard drive as shown in
Fig. 4. Place the hard drive with the partitions into the storage box.
• Remove the laterally-placed partitions (labelled B and B1) and place onto another hard drive.
Then, place this hard drive with the partitions into the storage box. (See Fig. 5 and 6).
The height of the lower hard drives can be 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm.
• Two more hard drives can be placed on top of the other hard drives from above between the
partitions (see Fig. 7).
The maximum height of the hard drives placed on top is 9.5 mm.
• Once all the hard drives have been correctly inserted, carefully close the cover. Ensure that the
fastener has properly clicked into place.
Cleaning
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning materials.
• Use a dry, clean and fibre-free cloth for cleaning. For more stubborn dirt, dampen a cloth with
luke-warm water and use soap or another gentle cleaning agent.
• If cleaning with a damp cloth, make sure the product is completely dry before use.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
