Make sure that the power cord is not crushed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or subjected to
any other mechanical strain. Avoid subjecting the power cord to excessive thermal stress due to
excessive heat or cold. Do not modify the power cord. Failure to do so may damage the power
cord. A damaged power cord can result in a life-threatening electric shock.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless these persons are
supervised by somebody responsible for their safety or have received instructions from them on
how to use the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
This product should only be used on firm, level ground.
If possible, protect your product from rain and weather conditions. During periods of frost and
throughout the winter, we recommend storing the products in a dry and protected place.

2.3 Workplace

Keep the workplace clean and well lit. Cluttered and poorly lit areas can cause accidents.
Do not use power tools in potentially explosive areas, e.g. in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Power tools generate sparks that can ignite the dust or exhaust gases.
Keep children and other persons away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause loss
of control.

2.4 Electrical Safety

The plugs of power tools must be compatible with the socket. Never change the plug. Do not
use adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Original plugs and matching receptacles reduce
the risk of electric shock.
Avoid physical contact with earthed objects such as pipes, radiators, stoves and refrigerators.
There is a higher risk of electric shock if your body comes into contact with a grounded object.
Do not expose power tools to rain or humid environments. The risk of electric shock is increased
if water enters a power tool.
Use the cord only for its intended purpose. Never use the cord to carry, pull or unplug the power
tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cables increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using
an outdoor-suitable cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
