Mounting instructions for Ringflash C / Ringflash P
Attention: For safety reasons operate the Ringflash C / Ringflash P only with a mounted reflector
respectively safety grid. To avoid the risk of electric shock, the lamp should not be
opened. Service and repair work must be done only by qualified personnel.
Mounting Ringflash P on Para FB umbrella
1.)
Unscrew the side screw and remove the adapter from the Ringflash P. Afterwards slide the
Ringflash P along the focusing bar of the Para FB umbrella until it is behind the adapter plate
of the focusing bar (image 1). Rescrew the adapter to the Ringflash P.
2.)
Pass the fixing screw through the outer hole of the adapter of the Ringflash P and screw the
Ringflash P to the adapter plate of the Para FB umbrella (image 2). By slightly loosening the
side screw on the Ringflash P, it is possible to pivot the lamp vertically.
3.)
To pivot the Ringflash P horizontally, the lamp must be tilted to 90° and fixed with the
fixing screw in the middle hole of the Ringflash P adapter. For reasons of space, the
lamp holder bolt, which is also fixed on the adapter plate of the Para FB (image 3),
must be previously dismounted.
Mounting Ringflash C (for cameras)
1.) Take out the Ringflash C and the corresponding adapter from the packaging.
2.) Unfold adapter and fix it in a rectangular position (image 4).
3.) Remove the fixing screw at the side of the Ringflash C and put the screw in the hole of the
adapter plate. Afterwards screw the adapter on the Ringflash C (image 5).
loosening the fixing screw the illumination angle of the Ringflash C can be changed.
As accessory a set of 3 pces honeycomb grids are available (article no. 33.219.00).
Flash tube / Modelling light
1. Replacement of flash tube
The flash tube for Ringflash C / Ringflash P is not a plug-in type. Therefore the replacement of the
flash tube must be carried out by an authorized broncolor
specialist.
2. Replacement of the halogen modelling lamps
The lamp contains 10 pluggable low voltage halogen lamps 25 W. Taking the service life of the
halogen lamps into consideration, they should not be touched with bare hands. Make sure that the
halogen lamps correspond to the local mains voltage (10 x 24 V at 230 V respectively 10 x 12 V at
120 V).
1.)
To pull out the reflector, respectively the safety grid, roll the locking roller as far as it will go
(image 6 and 8).
2.)
Gently pull off the reflector respectively safety grid from the locking mechanism and take it
out of the two lower retaining springs (image 7 and 9).
3.)
Pull out the halogen lamp axially from the socket. When inserting the halogen lamp ensure
that the lamp is pushed in as far as it can go.
