General

Proper use

This unit is intended only for commercial use and not for private use.
The unit may not be used without supervision by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who
have insufficient experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
monitored or receive instructions from a person responsible for their
safety as to how the unit should be operated.
The unit is equipped with two UV-C lamps and is used for room air
determination. It prevents the reproduction of mould, bacteria, viruses
and colonies in the air being passed through.
Any other use shall be considered improper. The manufacturer cannot
be held liable for damage or injuries resulting from this. The operator
bears the sole risk for this.
Proper use also includes compliance with the manufacturer's
instructions and its operating and maintenance conditions. The unit
may only be operated, maintained and repaired by persons familiar
with these tasks and who have been informed of the dangers involved.

Functional description

Highly intensive UV-C radiation prevents the propagation of mould,
bacteria and viruses.

Safety information

Danger of life! Dangerous voltage!
Risk of injury to persons due to electric shocks.
– Switch the unit voltage free before carrying out any
maintenance work.

Assembly and electrical connection must comply with the

Assembly, installation, upgrading, maintenance or repair of
the unit may only be carried out by specially trained and
instructed personnel.
Risk of severe eye and skin injuries!
Even with only a short radiation exposure, UV-C radiation
can cause severe damage to the skin and particularly the
eyes! Avoid direct irradiation of the eyes and skin under all
circumstances.
– Switch the unit voltage free before carrying out any
maintenance work and before opening the unit.
– Never operate UV-C lamps with the unit open or outside
the unit!
Attention!
Use only genuine spare parts of the same type! The
effectiveness of the unit may be lost if other parts are used;
in this case, the CE conformity expire.
Any liability for damage or injury proven to be the result of
the use of non-genuine spare parts is excluded.
1) In Germany: VDE regulations
– Do not carry out any unauthorised changes to the unit. The
manufacturer shall bear no liability for damage or injuries resulting
from such actions.
– The brackets are sealed to prevent unauthorised opening.
Brackets that do not have a seal or brackets with a damaged seal
may lead to a hazard to the user and lead to the loss of the
manufacturers guarantee.
– The unit may only be operated in full working order!
– No safety equipment (e.g. labels, seals, Lightlock, cover hood or
other components / attachments) may be removed or deactivated
which would impair the safe operation of the unit!
– If it is obvious that the unit is damaged, it must not be put into
operation!
– If the mains plug or cable is damaged, the unit should not be
connected to the mains socket.
– This unit is only to be operated with an alternating voltage of 230-
240 V with 50 Hz. It should not be connected to a mains network
that supplies direct current.
– Air intake and air outlet openings should not be covered!
