Attention
1. The signal conditioner must be installed in the safe
area.
2. On the non-intrinsically safe side of the signal
conditioner only such components may be used
which internal voltage does not exceed 250V.
3. The intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe
circuits are galvanically connected with the
protective ground.
4. The earth contact of the signal conditioner has to be
wired up with the corresponding protective ground
connectors in the hazardous area to provide potential
equalization.
5. The maximum ambient temperature is 40°C.
NOTE
The signal conditioners input is protected with
zenerdiodes. Wrong polarisation of mains supply and/or
overvoltage will destroy the fuse.

The protective ground is connected with the minus line
of the converter.

Calibration instruction
1. Wire up amp-meter as illustrated above.
2. Move float to it's maximum position. Adjust 20mA-
potentiometer untill amp-meter reads 20 mA.
3. Descend the float to it's lowest position. Adjust 4mA with
the 4mA-potentiometer.
