Operating the Iron
How to Dry Iron
1. Plug iron into outlet.
2. Set the Adjustable Steam Switch to

How to Steam Iron
1. Set the Adjustable Steam Switch to
2. Unplug iron.
3. Pour tap water into water tank opening, no more
than to the MAX fill line.
4. Plug iron into outlet.
5. Turn Temperature Control Dial to desired fabric
setting in the steam range. Allow 2 minutes for iron
to reach desired temperature.
WARNING! Burn Hazard: Attempting to steam iron
on a lower temperature setting or failing to allow the
iron to preheat for 2 minutes can result in hot water
dripping from the soleplate.
Position-Sensing Auto Shutoff
The iron will turn off automatically when left in the following positions. The Auto Shutoff time varies based on
the iron's position.
IRON POSITION
Resting on soleplate
Resting on either side
Resting on heel
NOTE: Moving the iron will reset the Auto Shutoff sensor.

4. To turn iron off, turn Temperature Control Dial to
OFF.
(Dry Iron).
5. Unplug iron.

7. For vertical steaming, hold iron 6 inches (15 cm)
from garment and do not allow hot soleplate to
touch delicate garments. Press and release the
Steam Burst Button to steam out wrinkles. Wait
at least 5 seconds before pressing Steam Burst
Button again.
8. To turn iron off, set Adjustable Steam Switch to
(Dry Iron).
9. Turn the Temperature Control Dial to OFF.
10. Unplug iron.
