Connecting the product
CAUSTIC LIQUID
Solar liquid can cause poisoning and chemical burns.
•
Switch off the solar pump assembly prior to starting the work.
•
Observe all safety information with regard to the solar liquid.
•
Use the required personal protective equipment.
•
Avoid contact of the solar liquid with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or
equipment damage.
Do not use pipe wrenches (Stillson) for mounting.
Verify that the pipes are not subjected to mechanical tension.
Verify that no loads are suspended from the pipes.
Verify that the compression fittings are suitable for temperatures up to
200 °C.
Verify that you only use heat-resistant metal pipes (up 200 °C) during for
mounting the product.
1. Mount a heat-resistant metal pipe to the blow-out end of the safety valve.
2. Install a pipe to the safety valve that is as long as possible (no mechanical
tension).
- This cools down the solar liquid on its way to the product.
