1. [VOLUME] Potentiometer.
Adjusting the instrument's volume. Turn the potentiometer to the left end to set the volume to zero.
2. [REVERB] knob.
This knob regulates the quantity of the selected reverb effect. Turn the potentiometer to the far left to
disable the effect.
For further information on Reverb read par. 5.2.
3. [DRIVE] knob.
This knob can be used to regulate the amount of distortion. Turn the potentiometer to the far left to disable
the effect.
For further information on the Drive effect, see par. 5.3.
4. [KEYCLICK] potentiometer.
Adjust the volume of the typical keyboard clicks of the original electromechanical organs. When the
potentiometer is to the far left, there is no keyclick effect.
For further information on percussion, see par. 4.4.
5. [TUNING] trimmer.
Adjust the instrument's fine tuning. When the trimmer is to the far left, the tuning is 1/2 semitone lower; at
the far right, the tuning is 1/2 semitone higher.
6. [CROSSTALK] potentiometer.
Adjust the level of noise generated by the internal audio cables in original electromechanical organs. When
the potentiometer is to the far left, there is no crosstalk effect.
For further information, see par. 4.4.
7. Equalization potentiometers.
These three knobs control the general equalization of the instrument.
- [BASS]: gain of +12 dB (with the potentiometer turned to the right) or attenuation of -12 dB (with
potentiometer turned to the left) of the low frequencies centred at 125 Hz.
- [MIDDLE]: gain of +12 dB (potentiometer turned to the right) or attenuation of -12 dB (potentiometer to
the left) of the mid-frequency band, centred at 800 Hz.
- [TREBLE]: gain of +12 dB (potentiometer turned to the right) or attenuation of -12 dB (potentiometer to
the left) of high frequencies, centred at 4 KHz.
8. [PEDALS SUSTAIN] potentiometer.
Adjusts the timbre and decay time of pedal notes.
When the potentiometer is turned to the far left, the pedalboard drawbars generate both the root note and
the harmonics, and the decay is immediate, after the key is released.
Turning the knob clockwise, the drawbar 8' generates only the root note, the decay time is increased and
the pedal drawbars become monophonic.
9. [PERCUSSION] potentiometers.
Adjust the envelope of the percussion, controlled by the PERCUSSION controls placed on the lower right
of the upper panel (see point 8 of par.3.1):
- [PERCUSSION DECAY]: the maximum decay time of the percussion when the key is pressed.
- [PERCUSSION VOLUME]: the maximum volume of the percussion.
10. [REVERB] buttons.
These buttons control the reverb effect:
- [REVERB POST/PRE] (only available in Legend model): select the position of the effect within the signal
chain. The POST mode is represented by the led being off; in this mode, the reverb is applied after the
Rotary effect. In PRE mode the led is switched on; reverb is applied before the Rotary effect.
In Legend Live model press simultaneously the button [TRANSPOSE SELECT] and the key G4 on the
upper manual to select the POST mode. Press [TRANSPOSE SELECT] and the key A4 to select the
PRE mode instead.
- [REVERB HALL/SPRING]: select the reverb type. In HALL mode the led is switched off. This reverb
simulates a closed space. In SPRING mode the led is switched on. The effect simulates a spring reverb.
For more information on the Reverb effect read par.5.2.
