3. Using the Nightfox

1. Remove the lens filter cap from the front of the device. The
filter is to be used during day-time only.
2. Turn the Nightfox on by holding the ON button down for two
seconds, until the display illuminates.
3. Pick an infrared power level by pressing the IR button. This will
provide illumination to the picture. There are 7 brightness
levels. A higher level will provide a brighter picture but will
deplete the batteries quicker.
4. Focus the picture by turning the lens clockwise or anti-
clockwise (see arrow 9 on page 5).
5. You can zoom by pressing the ZOOM button to magnify the
picture by up to 2x. Keep pressing to go back to 1x
magnification.
6. Press the MODE button to switch modes — the Nightfox's four
modes are Photo, Video, Gallery and Settings. These are
explained in the next sections.
